Did you know that keeping our squadron running costs almost $10,000 annually? Even though CAP is the auxiliary of the Air Force, local squadrons such as La Crosse, do not receive direct support. The Air Force does provide support for aircraft, emergency services training, and carrying out missions. However, funds to pay for building rent, utilities, internet, and other routine expenses must be raised locally.
So how can you help?
- Wreaths Across America – The annual wreath laying ceremony supports both local veterans and our squadron. Each wreath is $15 and the squadron receives $5 of each wreath purchase.
- Donate supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, printing paper, and cleaning products!
- Donate! Civil Air Patrol is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. All donations are tax deductible.
