Would you like to have a one-of-a-kind aviation experience at your next event? Our squadron’s F-16 simulator is available for community events and schools. Please use the form below to make a request. We ask at least four weeks notice for requests. We will attempt to honor requests with less than four weeks notice, but it is more difficult. The simulator’s availability is subject to member availability, conditions, site readiness, and CAP mission demands.
Maintaining the simulator costs money. The primary way we raise money is by asking those who fly it to make freewill donations to support it. If your organization does not want to allow us to ask for donations (for example: a school setting) then we ask organizations to consider making at least a $100 donation. Because of its weight, generally moving it to and from any La Crosse location costs $15-$20 in fuel alone.
For distances beyond 30 miles, a minimum charge of $4 per mile will be charged to the event host. If overnight lodging or accommodations are required, please contact us ahead of time to discuss lodging and per diem arrangements.
Note: Your site must have 120 volt electrical service available within 20 feet of the location of the simulator.
