Good Afternoon Cadets,

This Saturday, December 6, 2014, will be the second rocket launch day. *The
day will begin with the full squadron meeting at 0900*. Once the squadron
meeting is finished, all cadets will head out to the site after the monthly
meeting. *Plan to be dismissed at* *approximately 1445. *This time may
change; please be prepared to be flexible. There will be cellphones
available to call parents if necessary. We could potentially be outside
for three hours.

*The Uniform of the day is BDUs.*

If you did not launch your orange and black Alpha III Rocket built in July,
you will be able to do so on this day. Other rockets to launch include one
that should reach a high altitude, and another that carries an egg payload
(passenger). Whether you have a rocket to fire or not, you will have a
good time.

*Note the following*:

   1.

Bring a signed permission slip (see attached).
   2.

Dress appropriately for the cold weather (coats, hat/gloves, wool
socks/extra socks to protect feet, hand/foot warmers recommended).
   3.

Bring one full canteen of water.
   4.

Bring a sandwich/lunch/snack as lunch is not provided.

If you have any questions, please ask.
