Members help send veterans off on Freedom Honor Flight

Before the sun came up the veterans were getting ready and already arriving and Colgan Air Services’ Hangar #4. Their day would be filled with flying to Washington, D.C. and touring the nation’s capitol as part of another Freedom Honor Flight sponsored by Operation Homefront in La Crosse. Members of the La Crosse Composite Squadron also gathered in the early morning hours to honor the veterans as they boarded the aircraft for their travels. Cadet and senior members formed two rows that saluted the veterans as they walked or were wheeled from Hangar #4 to a ramp to board their aircraft.
